PUTRA FINANCE FINANCIAL SYSTEM ROADSHOWS

SERDANG-11 January 2024: The Government Resource Planning System or rebranded as the Putra Finance System will start to be used from 15 January 2024 by all Responsibility Centers including the Bursar's Office at Universiti Putra Malaysia Serdang Campus and Bintulu Campus. 5 series of tours named as roadshows to provide understanding and get feedback from PTJ were held by the Bursar's Office at UPM Serdang Campus and also attended by UPM Bintulu Campus staff online on January 8, 2024, January 10, 2024 and January 11, 2024.

The official for each session is Mrs. Bursar or Mr. Yusri Hashim who acts as the Chairman of the Digitization Committee and also the Senior Deputy Treasurer, Bursar's Office.
The first session which took place in the Serdang Briefing Hall, Putra Chancellery Building began with a briefing to all the staff of the Bursar's Office, a total of 163 people who are the main stronghold in the implementation of the Putra Finance financial system and are the most important movers to ensure that all financial processes can be recorded correctly at the same time produce accurate Financial Statements. The speaker who was invited to explain the main features of the system and the modules used including some tips and tricks that users can use to launch the financial process was also shared by the speaker, Mrs. Noraini binti Abdullah.

The next session continues on Monday evening, January 8, 2024 with an invitation to PTJ Division, Office and Residential College. A total of 163 participants attended this session delivered by Puan Yusnawati Mat Isa which started at 2.30pm and ended at 4.00pm

The second day of the roadshow, which was on 10 January 2024, witnessed the presence of staff from PTJ Institute and Center as many as 319 people consisting of implementers, administrators and lecturers who were very excited to witness the presentation by Mrs. Hafizah Misran at the Faculty of Education Auditorium from 9.00 am. While the afternoon session which ended at 4.30pm saw the presence of 390 people from the PTJ of the Faculty of Social Sciences, including the online presence of PTJ representatives at UPM Bintulu Campus. This session was presented by Puan Yusnawati Mat Isa and received various questions from the participants.

Puan Bursar also delivered a closing speech at the last session on 11 January 2024 which was attended by 252 PTJs from the science and technical faculty by asking for full cooperation from all PTJs and giving constructive feedback to improve the implementation of this system considering that UPM is the first Public University to upgrade the financial system comprehensively. The speaker for this session was Mrs. Hafizah Misran who also answered the questions posed by the participants.

Hopefully this roadshow session carried out by the Bursar's Office will have a good impact on the open acceptance by the Bursar's Office employees in order to achieve goal 5 in the UPM Strategic Plan 2021-2025
