Serdang, 22 September 2023 - The Read@Bursar Knowledge Narrative Program was organized for the third time for the year 2023 in the Read@Bursar room starting at 3.00 pm and it was delivered by Puan Mazitah Ahmad, Head of the Student Finance and Revenue Management Division. He has chosen the book titled "Rich Dad Poor Dad" written by Robert Toyu Kiyosaki as a useful sharing for all the people of the Bursar's Office.

"Rich Dad Poor Dad" explains the difference in views between the rich and the poor regarding financial problems. The author also provides motivation so that readers can build solid financial-based wealth, distinguish between assets that increase wealth and liabilities that consume money, achieve financial freedom and work satisfaction, make money work for us.

Among the 10 lessons that can be learned from this partnership are:

1) Listen to learn
2) Pay Yourself First
3) Buy Luxuries Last, Not First
4) Reduce Expenses & Liabilities
5) Aim for more valuable assets
6) Be in control of your emotions
7) Work to learn, don't work to earn
8) You become what you study - read a lot
9) Reinvest excess cash generated by assets
10) Surround yourself with people smarter than you

The Read@Bursar Narrative of Knowledge Program ends with advice and recommendations for all to be able to make the best choice if faced with financial problems. Hopefully this program can be continued in the future with more reading materials that are interesting and useful.
