SERDANG, 21 July 2023 - The UPM Staff Sports Tournament (SUSTAF) is an annual event that is often looked forward to by all staff regardless of their background whether they are UPM athletes or just staff who want to spend time and be together in every tournament organized by UPM.
Among the competitions that are always talked about and participated in by almost all PTJs is the Parade Competition between Responsibility Centers. This year, the Opening Ceremony of the UPM Staff Sports Championship (SUSTAF) 2023 and the Parade Competition between Responsibility Centers took place at the UPM Sports Academy Stadium which started at 8.00pm. There are 8 PTJ alliances participating in the parade event.
The Bursar's Office is together with the Vice Chancellor's Office, the Quality Assurance Center, the Deputy Vice Chancellor's Office (JINM), the Registrar's Office, PPPA, OSHA, COSCOMM, UCTC, the Islamic Center, PKKSSAS and the Sports Academy and forms the 8 or G8 Coalition. This year saw more PTJ join the G8 group and make the G8 stronger than the previous year.
The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Bin Sulaiman as Vice Chancellor of UPM and was attended by PTJ representatives who had been invited.
G8 and the Bursar's Office won 2 categories in the event, namely the Best Cross of Honor and the best Overall Parade of UPM for the year 2023.
Congratulations to the entire contingent and the Bursar's Office in particular. InsyaAllah we will meet again next year to rock the UPM stadium again with the chants of Gabungan 8.
